Harambee Stars, Mafirauni waingia kambini kabla ya kukabana koo Alhamisi

TIMU za Kenya na Misri zimeingia kambini kabla ya mechi ya marudiano ya Kundi G ya kufuzu kushiriki Kombe la Afrika (AFCON) 2022 itakayosakatwa jijini Nairobi mnamo Machi 25.

Harambee Stars ilikaribisha kambini wachezaji 18 wakiwemo washambuliaji matata Michael ‘Engineer’ Olunga (Qatar) na Masud Juma (Morocco), viungo Cliff Nyakeya (Misri) na Duke Abuya (Zambia). Wote walipimwa virusi vya corona Jumapili inavyohitajika.

Vijana wa Jacob “Ghost” Mulee wameanza mazoezi ya mwishomwisho leo Jumatatu.

Kipa nambari moja Ian Otieno (Zesco United, Zambia), mabeki Joseph Okumu (Elfsborg, Uswidi), Eric Ouma (AIK, Uswidi), Joash Onyango (Simba, Tanzania) na kiungo Anthony Akumu (Kaizer Chiefs) wamo katika orodha ya wachezaji ambao bado wanatarajiwa.

Mafirauni, ambao wananolewa na Hossam al-Badry, walikuwa na kipindi cha kwanza cha mazoezi ugani Cairo mnamo Jumapili.

Taarifa kutoka Misri zinadai kuwa ‘muuaji’ Mohamed Salah aliomba Shirikisho la Soka Misri limtengee chumba chake pekee kutokana na ushauri wa klabu ya Liverpool nchini Uingereza asiambukizwe virusi hivyo tena.

Stars lazima ipige Misri na wanavisiwa wa Comoros na kuomba mmoja kati yao apoteze mechi zote zilizosalia ili ipate tiketi ya kushiriki AFCON mwaka 2022.

Mechi kati ya Stars na Misri itasakatwa chini ya taa uwanjani Kasarani hapo Alhamisi.

Stars, ambayo imeambulia alama tatu kutoka michuano yake minne ya kwanza, pointi tano nyuma ya Misri na Comoros, itakamilisha ratiba yake dhidi ya Togo jijini Lome mnamo Machi 29.
