Macho kwa Mbwana Samatta na Mohamed Salah huku Tanzania na Misri zikipimana nguvu

TAIFA Stars ya Tanzania inatarajia kuwa na mechi nzuri inapimana nguvu dhidi ya wenyeji wa Kombe la Afrika (AFCON) 2019 Misri uwanjani Borg El Arab mjini Alexandria leo Alhamisi saa nne usiku.
Shirikisho la Soka nchini Tanzania (TFF) limenukuu Kocha wa viungo Abdelrahman Essa akisema mechi hiyo ya kwanza kirafiki ni muhimu sana kwa Taifa Stars ambayo itakutana na Senegal, Kenya na Algeria katika mechi za Kundi C kwenye AFCON jijini Cairo mnamo Juni 23, Juni 27 na Julai 1 mtawalia.
“Natarajia mechi hiyo iwe ya kufana,” ameongeza raia wa Misri, Essa, ambaye aliajiriwa katika benchi la kiufundi la Tanzania hapo Juni 11.
Kipa Aishi Manula kutoka Simba SC amesema Tanzania itakuwa ikitafuta matokeo mazuri dhidi ya Wamisri, ambao wanajivunia mataji mengi ya AFCON kuliko taifa lingine lolote barani Afrika (saba). “Misri ni kipimo tosha. Mechi hii itatupa nafasi ya kuonyesha kile tumejifunza. Ni mechi ambayo tunataka kupata matokeo mazuri….”
Tanzania haijawahi kupata sare ama kushinda Misri katika mechi tano mataifa haya yamekutana kati ya mwaka 1980, ambayo ni mara ya mwisho Taifa Stars ilikuwa AFCON, na mwaka 2016 zilipokutana mara ya mwisho. Kwa jumla, Misri imefunga Tanzania mabao 17-3 katika mechi hizo. Macho yatakuwa kwa nyota wa Tanzania, Mbwana Samatta, ambaye aliibuka mfungaji bora katika Ligi Kuu ya Ubelgiji msimu 2018-2019, na Mohamed Salah, ambaye kwa msimu wa pili mfululizo alinyakua tuzo ya mfungaji bora kwenye Ligi Kuu ya Uingereza. Misri iko katika Kundi A pamoja na DR Congo, Uganda na Zimbabwe. Mataifa 24 yatashiriki AFCON mwaka 2019.
