Kenya U-23 kuchuana na Uzbekistan Machi 22

KENYA imepata fursa ya kuchuana na mabingwa wa Bara Asia wa soka ya wachezaji wasiozidi umri wa miaka 23, Uzbekistan, Shirikisho la Soka nchini Kenya (FKF) limetangaza Ijumaa.
Taarifa kutoka FKF zinasema kwamba kocha wa Mathare United, Francis Kimanzi, ameteuliwa kunoa timu hiyo ya Kenya itakayozuru Uzbekistan kwa mechi mbili za kirafiki zitakazosakatwa Machi 22 na Machi 25, 2018.
Shirikisho la FKF pia limetangaza kikosi cha Under-23 kitakacholimana na Uzbekistan.
Baadhi ya majina makubwa katika kikosi cha Kimanzi ni mvamizi matata wa AFC Leopards Vincent Oburu, kiungo wa Kariobangi Sharks Sven Yidah na Pistone Vunyoli wa Wazito FC.
“Kenya imethibitisha kuwania tiketi ya kushiriki mashindano ya Olimpiki mwaka 2020 (jijini Tokyo nchini Japan). Mechi za Uzbekistan ni sehemu maandalizi yetu kabla ya mchujo wa kuingia Olimpiki,” amesema Rais wa FKF Nick Mwendwa. Kimanzi atasaidiwa na kocha mkuu wa KCB, John Kamau.
